SonicWALL Trade-Up Program

Small and medium size organizations face many of the same issues as larger enterprises, whether it's enhancing network security, increasing employee productivity or gaining a better understanding of a network. Current SonicWALL PRO Series users have a smart solution: the SonicWALL Comprehensive Gateway Security Suite (CGSS) which combines network security, productivity, reporting, and support into a single, cost efficient solution. This service, which works with all fourth-generation SonicWALL TZ and PRO Series appliances, utilizes a deep packet inspection architecture that can examine every packet of data before it enters a network. Unlike this approach, the stateful packet inspection method used in typical firewalls cannot inspect 100% of network traffic. And, because the SonicWALL solution is tuned to handle deep inspection at high speed, it enables exceptional levels of network performance at load conditions.

The new SonicWALL PRO Series Trade-up Program provides an opportunity for current users of SonicWALL third-generation or earlier products to upgrade these outdated firewalls at a substantial discount.

Who can take advantage of the PRO Series Trade-Up Program?

The SonicWALL PRO Series Trade-up Program is simple. Existing SonicWALL customers with a third-generation or older product and an active support contract on that unit can trade up their outdated firewall to a fourth generation PRO Series Unified Threat Management (UTM) solution at no additional cost by purchasing two years of Comprehensive Gateway Security Suite (CGSS).

The Comprehensive Gateway Security Suite subscription service includes the following:

  • Gateway Anti-Virus, Anti-Spyware and Intrusion Prevention Service: The service delivers intelligent, real-time network security protection against the latest blended threats, including viruses, spyware, worms, Trojans, software vulnerabilities and other malicious code.
  • Content Filtering Service Premium Edition: This service enforces productivity and protection policies for businesses and schools by employing an innovative rating architecture and dynamically updated database to block 55+ categories of objectionable and inappropriate Web content.
  • ViewPoint Reporting Software: ViewPoint reporting software gives administrators instant insight into network security status through easy-to-understand real-time and historical reports on a comprehensive set of monitored functions.
  • Dynamic Support 8x5: Designed for customers who need advanced technical support and the additional benefits of on-going software and firmware updates, SonicWALL Dynamic Support 8X5 includes:
    • All software and firmware updates and upgrades
    • Advance exchange replacement in the event of failure
    • Telephone or Web-based support during local business hours
    • Access to SonicWALL's electronic support tools
